Fall 2025 Children's Classes

Student-level assessments are conducted the first two weeks of each session to ensure all students are placed at the appropriate skill level for them to grow to their fullest potential. Parents will be notified immediately of any need for level or class change. Please keep in mind, age is only a gauge for where the student is developmentally. Listed class ages may vary, as technical skill is the main indicator of level placement. 

Movement Enhancement Program

Creative Movement, age 3

• Fall session: 9/2 – 12/15
• All classes run for a total of 14 weeks

Ballet Fundamentals (A)

  • 2 classes per week: $445 (highly encouraged for ballet for optimal training)

Level II/III, ages 14 – 17 (Pre-Collegiate)

  • 4 classes per week: $880

All students enrolled in the Pre-Collegiate program will participate in the National Honor Society for Dance Arts program, https://www.ndeo.org/nhsda/About-NHSDA. The program celebrates the artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievements of exceptional dance students. Students benefits include:

1. Receive recognition of their artistic merit, academic achievement, and leadership throughout their educational experience at Towson University Community Dance.

2. Receive a certificate at induction and have the opportunity to receive the gold Honor Pin and wear the blue and white Honor Cord and/or Medallion at graduation. 

3. Mentorship from Chapter Sponsor and networking with peers.

4. Leadership and development opportunities within their NHSDA Chapter.
