Michael Teitelbaum
Michael is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with deep roots in media and
marketing. He launched his first business, Money Mailer, in 1982 and went on to co-found
one of the region’s earliest web development firms, e.magination, in 1996. He currently
serves as president of Baltimore magazine. Prior to joining the magazine in 2017,
Michael held executive roles at Eisner Interactive, South Central Media, and Right
Source Marketing.
Michael has long believed in the power of peer learning. Early in his career, he joined executive roundtables and quickly recognized their value. That experience led him to launch his own roundtable through the Greater Baltimore Technology Council, which he facilitated for 15 years. In 2025, he founded the Executive Advisory Council, a confidential peer group for business leaders. The group has grown into a trusted space for 13 executives to process challenges, gain perspective and grow as leaders.
Outside of work, Michael is an active volunteer with NAMI Metro Baltimore and the City and Regional Magazine Association. He’s also a musician and plays bass for The Wafflers, a local band.
