Why I work in Admissions.
I like to think of myself as a fairy godmother (she/her/hers). I help students and families realize their dreams and work alongside them to make it happen! College admission is the start of what is possible. As a first-generation college student myself, I know this can be a stressful time, but there is a place for everyone. The real fun happens when you are here, and I love helping guide students on their journey. 

Something people might not know about TU.
We have a student club called the Tiny Tigers and they take care of the cat population living in Glen Woods! 

My advice to anyone who’s applying.
Be yourself and trust the process! One of our favorite parts of a student's application is their activities list and essay. That is where we can really get to know what you are passionate about and what you'll do with your college experience. We won't know something unless you tell us so let your true colors shine through. 

My warm and fuzzy moment.
I worked with a student who was unable to start as a freshman, but we kept in touch each semester and they worked hard at their local community college. Two years later, they found me at an open house with an acceptance packet in their hand! I love that there isn't just one pathway to TU. If TU is your dream school, we will find a way to get you here.
